Knitting gloves!

Hope this is the best place to ask! I knitted several jumpers when I was 19 but haven't done anything since and have been toying with the idea of starting again. However my DS (25) at the weekend said how lovely it would be to have me make him some fingerless gloves and I wondered how difficult they are? Some patterns say intermediate skill required and talk about round needles which has really panicked me! Am I worrying over nothing? And if so, where's the best place to get yellow wool (has to be yellow!) and needles now there are no wool shops around?

Sirdar patterns are really clearly written and this is a 2 needle glove so easy to get into if you haven't knitted for a while

do not be tempted after your triumph at these to knit fingered gloves. It’s a bloody thankless fiddly task 😂😂
