Recommend a website printing photos with your own words on the top

Can anyone recommend a website/software for consumer use (i.e. not business) where you can upload your own photos and then add your own text and order the prints (with the text on the top) to be sent to you (eg to be framed as a picture or a poster etc) I cannot find anything even though I assumed most places like PHOTOBOX or even moonpig might do this (but not in greeting card format etc)
I wanted to create my own posters/pictures or even postcards to send to people. Thanks

I'm looking for the same. Did you ever find one?

Not really BoRacic · Today 11:54

I had a little play on Canva for a few minutes but so far as I could see you had to pay £££ to produce prints of photos with your words positioned and printed on top of the photo.
I am not looking for perfection nor is this supposed to be something for professional use. I cannot believe that no compay offers this service (for free or for little more than printing the photo itself) to be honest!

I use the Word Swag app to do this with images. You can then send the photos to a printing service.

Scampuss · Today 12:43 thank you for posting that is really interesting
Could you give some pointers on how much it costs to use that app (i.e. is it a lot more expensive than simply printing photos like on PhotoBox or similar)?

You can add text to photos on your phone through any number of apps - you can do it in Google Photos, or Snapseed or Pixlr. On a desktop you could do it through PowerPoint and then save the slide as an image file.

Then you're just looking for a photo printing site, or your local print shop (at mine you can take the files on a memory stick or email them).

@millymog11 it's a free app!

But it only does the creating text over photos thing, you'd need to upload them elsewhere for printing.

I just open up the photo I want to edit on the gallery app on my phone. Click to edit, add text (or crop, amend colours or brightness etc), save as copy. Then I go to Freeprints (website and app) and upload all the photos I want printed and then they arrive in the post. I think you can get 40 free prints a month and you just pay something like £3.99 for postage.
