Sorting out my --stash--, sorry carefully curated collection of fabric

I having a change around because my stash is too big and very messy

It's sorted by previous use (curtains, bedding, tablecloths etc) and I'm changing it to colours

Going rainbow, pink with a white, cream, brown, gray, black section

And I need help please, mainly white with red flowers goes in the red section, black with blue stripes goes in the blue section

But where do the equally red/green or check/tartan things go....falling down a rabbit hole! HELP!

My rainbow now looks like this:

Black

Grey

White sheets

White tablecloths

Textured White

Cream

Beige

Brown

Rust

Red

Orange

Yellow

Chartreuse

Green

Teal

Blue

Indigo

Violet

Mauve

Pink

Then checks/overtly patterened

Well that formatted stupidly

All I can say is I feel a lot better for having a recent cull.
If it hasn't been used in 4 years it's clearly not that essential and I made some money selling the unwanted fabric on ebay.

And mine goes:
Upholstery fabrics
Dressmaking fabrics large
Prints smaller pieces
Plains
Weird shit (glittery stuff, voile etc)

I started my business in 2019 so im not there yet
& my primary goal is to reuse vintage and preloved fabrics so I may never get to your level

I like weird shit as a category, may I use that?

I found I got less productive when I focused too much on the 'collecting' side so now I aim to use what I have before acquiring more, and the 5 storage bins I have are my limit.

I make clothes and costumes from vintage and preloved and upcycle clothes and jackets

I then go to festivals and sell them 😁

I have a ball

The buttons look OK I think but the fabrics all need folding

Did a bit of a sort today....plenty more to do!!
