Pram blanket

I am using pom pom wool to knit a pram blanket. The pattern is saying use 2 balls but I think that will make it too long. Has anyone any idea what sort of length it should be?
I can't measure it as the blanket is a gift.
Thank you

Well, I would probably make a pram blanket at about 75cm by 90cm. Does the yarn label or the company’s website say anything about how many stitches to cast on for a certain width?

@Gremlinsateit Thank you
The yarn does say how big to do it and I'm quite happy with the width but if I followed their instructions for length it would be nearer 150cm which is too long imo.
I'll see what it look s like when i get to 90cm.

Oh yes, 150 would be much too long for what I would think of as a pram blanket. Hope it goes well :)

150cm would be more like a cot blanket.

These blankets were popular for prams when my boy was a baby - it’s 70 by 90 just as @Gremlinsateit said.
