Found these online following a link in a Style thread. Some nice things to make!

If you scroll down, there's a link to free downloadable ones. These are the ones I was referring to, not the ones you have to buy

they are lovely - but are they only lovely if you buy gazillions of amy butler fabrics?

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 13:45

i am abit at the necklace

SoupDragon · 29/01/2008 13:56

I'm more than a bit at the necklace!!

I don't much like her fabrics actually. eg I think the quilt look far too busy and would benefit from less patterns but the structure looks good. I think any fabrics would work. Apart from with the necklace.

yep - nothing would work with the necklace! i am strangely drawn to the weird leafy things.

SoupDragon · 29/01/2008 14:01

Yes! I loved the leaves.

Also the portfolios further down (which I've printed off).

yes i wll print off and file under 'things i know i will never get round to but i can dream can't i?'

well i like those fabrics in isolation but they are toooooooooooo busy when all together in a quilt !!!! it's a nice fresh looking website but those quilts are CRazY!!!!

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 14:04

i like the craziness! it is like cathkidston was sick in a florists.

SoupDragon · 29/01/2008 14:04

The quilts gave me a headache. Maybe they look better when larger in real life [doubtful]

"like cathkidston was sick in a florists"

Snort!

I think Ikea have some cheap, graphic floral fabrics in at the moment

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 14:06

oooh! was in ikea but dh led me past the textiles bit in a blindfold.

vInTaGeVioLeT · 29/01/2008 14:16

ha my dp is like that - he leads me past most stuff in ikea

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 14:18

and now i am obsessed with knitting he has to add the yarn section in john lewis to his long list of 'places i am not allowed to pass if i have arranged to meet him for a coffee'

SoupDragon · 29/01/2008 14:18

I go to Ikea alone

OP posts:
ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 14:22

i hate going to ikea though. i tend to get abit crazed and desperate at the sight of all the clones walking slowly through the kitchen section. i once made the mistake of dashing in to get something without my glasses on and had to practicllly feel my way to the right section.

SoupDragon · 29/01/2008 14:25

I weave in and out of the clones
