Staedler or Faber-Castell? The Works or Art Shop? Coloured Pencils for Adults!

I love colouring in books like these. I had a period of ill health and they were the perfect distraction and comfort. I also do some wild flower and wild life sketching.

I had collected a huge variety of pencils that have disappeared when we made some changes to the house.

I plan to replace them but can’t remember all the makes etc. Can anyone recommend a good set that won’t break the bank. (My last collection was built up over time but I don’t want to limit myself to 12 colours!

I like the Staedler Noris ones - and they're quite cheap, and you can get several sets with loads of colours. Staedler also do another range which have fewer colours but are triangular which is great for left-handers like me

Thank you both, no goblin and oohyoudevilyou
I am so gutted to have lost my pencils as I collected them over the years.
I first bought a colouring book and pencils in Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco and added on other vacations or birthdays etc.

I will start off on line and hope I find some more unusual ones over the coming years.

So I have ordered Staedler Noris, Faber Castell and Pentel.

I am going to Glastonbury at the end of August, there is a wonderful stationery shop there so I can top up with some lovely pencils.
