I am thinking of asking for one for my Christmas present. I'd love to hear what people who have used one think of them.

Just a thought.....I have a sizzix machine and can make some off the little bitty fairies.....does anyone want to start a bit of a swap shop going with their card making bits and bobs?

I have posted your bits tonight Dingle....chucked in some bits too for your cards for the DS society.

Jaysmum, what dies do you have?

Sounds like a great idea - why don't you start a new thread about it to avoid confusion?

OK will do....

Dingle · 23/03/2005 20:31

Jaysmum, it has been mentioned before about some sort of crafty embellishment swap.
I know it's not your cup of tea, but I knit little tiny baby booties, and I am starting to do footballer hats/scarves in team colours, I do cute faces with hair in bunches....
I would love to see some samples of the dies you all have. I can't justify buying one but have seen some lovely toppers made up with sizzix dies. I would like to know a bit more but would be interested in the doll body ( what dimensions are the bitty bodies...)

Jaysmum · 23/03/2005 20:35

Dingle.....new thread started

Oh champs you will love it....I adore mine and cant imagine how i managed without it before....just keep spending far too much money on new dies though

champs · 09/04/2005 22:36

hunkermunker · 23/05/2005 19:08

OK, some questions about Sizzix machines.

I've found one on ebay for £37.50 plus £9.50 p&p - I think this sounds like quite a bargain, am I right?

Are the shapes copyright or can you use them on cards you sell? I know you can sell the diecuts on ebay and craft stalls - considering that too.

Does it work on foam sheets (fuinky foam?)?

I just want crisp edges!!!

Carolinett · 23/05/2005 19:12

Thats a great price usally about £60 or £70
yes it cuts funcky foam sheet metal the thin stuffI've cut thick mounting card

hunkermunker · 23/05/2005 19:13

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed one

Carolinett · 23/05/2005 19:16

Now stop lusting & luring over it, buy it, go for it.
I didn't just lust & lure I dribble over it.

SoupDragon · 23/05/2005 19:17

Does that not make it go rusty?
