I've seen various stories on here where people have done the nicest thing for others such as offering to teach them to knit/crochet, or making a replica of a loved teddy.
I'm attending my 4th sewing class this week before the sewing studio closes for the month of July. I don't have a sewing machine and I don't want to buy one until I'm sure this is a hobby I will want to continue.
I asked my sewing teacher if she would consider hiring me a machine for the month while the studio is closed for a fee. Not only has been said yes but she has only asked for a refundable deposit. When I assured her I would be happy to pay a fee or make a charity donation (she has a charity box in her studio and if you use any small haberdashery items she only asks that you put a donation on the box), she said there would be no fee but I could make a donation, however there is no obligation.
I'm so excited that I'll have a month to practice and have bought my first pattern!!
