Knitting patterns like Toast

Not the bread variety! The clothing company. I love the simple, clean lines and natural fibres but cannot justify the price tag right now. I have vintage patterns like them, but it’s all odd sizing and yarn. Anyone know if any modern knitting patterns similar?

There are some lovely patterns by My Favourite Things that I have my eye on. I've also made a sweater and just started a cardigan from Petite Knit

I don't know if either are what you're looking for but I love their simple designs. Although I can make things technically more difficult, aesthetically I'm drawn to more unfussy patterns. I subbed out the yarn for UK equivalents with no problems either. Let me know if you find anything elsewhere!

Yeah that’s the kinda thing. Seems it’s quota danish fashion. Unfortunately they use a lot of double pointed needles in their patterns and I only knit flat (hate knitting in the round) . Thanks for the suggestions.

Have a look at Rowan, they are quite modern but still tend to be knit flat/seamed in the more usual way. Also Kim Hargreaves.

Kim Hargreaves

I find her patterns work really well.

Sometimes I really love mumsnet. This is one of those times! Thank you so much @Petrarkanian This is exactly what I have been searching for. Wearable and knit flat.

Oh and @NotMeNoNo too. I seem to have missed your message sorry! Rowan seems to work in knitting the round or it isn’t quite right somehow. I am too fussy I know, haha. Kim Hargreaves’s patterns are exactly what I have been searching for, thank you.

Forgot to add ( I find this really useful) If you put the name of the Kim Hargreaves book into Ravelry it will tell you what wool is needed and sometimes there are pictures of other peoples knits.
