Can anyone give advice on how I can repair my son's jacket?

Total novice here. Can sew badges on cubs jumpers and repair a seam but that's about it.

The little catch at the end of the zip has come off. Can anyone let me know if I can repair it and, advise how? Should I take it to a seamstress or can I do it myself? Thank you

I can't zoom in on the app, but it looks like the stopper piece at the bottom of the right side is missing.

Thats the problem, yes. I just dont know how to fix it? Can i buy a new one of the stoppers? If so, where? Is it stitched or glued on ? 😆 literally no idea but I would like to fix it if possible

Also can't zoom. If it's just the bit that stops the zip coming off, you should be able to sort that yourself. All you need is something is that stops the zipper sliding down and off. I would fold a piece of navy (?) material about 1cm in height over on itself a few times to give it thickness and then just sew that over the zipper end so that it loops around the zip and stops it flying off. (That should work presuming the other side is the one you put into the zip.

Stick a limp of sugru on the end of the zip

I have repaired zips with this problem by making a stop out of copper wire.

Push the zip-pull back on the zip as if you were doing up the zip. Push it up a fair bit then let the zip come apart at the hem.

On the side that's lost the stopper, sew over the bottom of the zip quite a few times

Ok from the youtube videos I have watched, none of them cover what to do when the stopper bit is completely gone.
Going to try @theemmadilemma suggestion I think.

Sorry, I have just realised that when I did it with the wire (on a fleece), it meant I then had to pull it over my head to get it on.

I suspect that that isn’t going to work for you.
