other than just drawing lots....
what i mean is - how do you start getting paid work? Do you actually lug a portfolio around publishing houses, or is it more word-of-mouth/being in the right place at the right time?
any pointers much appreciated - i need to be more creative this year and work towards some paid work as well. ;0
