im not particulary crafty or should that be arty well anyway this year thought i would like some tree decs that will last so have done little x stitch pics ie robin,snowmen ect then put a member of the family name and birth date on each one backed them with felt and now can hang it on the tree

You'll probably have friends and family asking you to make some for them when they see them. People love something personal.

I think that's a fantastic thing to do - lovely - and then make as presents for all relatives?

yes i have had orders lol but we got a damn big family with grandparent to grandkids,fosterkids so it will take me a while to do all ours! my grandaughter got the idea(4)when she said our xmas tree can grow with our family tree

fostermum, they sound great!! they will grow in value as the years go by and they get older.
