Can I swap a corded roman blind mechanism to a chain?

I've got a lovely looking linen roman blind that I bought relatively cheaply that has a corded mechanism that annoyingly is really fiddly to use. I've also got a lovely hand made roman blind with a chain that was made for our old house that I can't find a spot for in our new home. Is there a way to take the mechanism from the chain roman blind and use it to replace the cord mechanism in the other blind? The blind with the chain mechanism is bigger, but I'm hoping there's a way that I can cut it down. I've attached a photo of the back of the chain mechanism blind. TIA!

You would peel both blinds off the head rails where they are attached with Velcro. I believe the chain drive head rail can be cut down and you can slide the cord spools along so they line up with the new blind’s rings. Then re attach and rethread the cords. You will need to change the wall fittings too. If any parts are missing you can buy them online.

Thank you so much @NotMeNoNo, that’s really useful- great, sounds like it’s doable then!
