That reminds me,

I saw on QVC a stamp pad which makes any colour card just a little bit darker, it's got no colour if that makes sense. However, didn't catch the name of it, does anyone know???

OMG I've only bought a few stamps (5) 'hero arts' and it cost me over 70 quid........ haven't even got the inks/pens or paper yet lol, thuis is a very expensive hobby! thats just the basics, everything I want would peobably cost me a good few hundred. will go looking online tonight for best inks to buy... its all very confusing with different types of inks etc can't quite get my head around it.
Have watched QVC but the postage charges are expensive IMO

Oh dear, look at that terrible message, have been too busy making up card blanks-my fingers have gone all wobbly!
Yes- it is a VersaMark Watermark Stamp- I think that is the one I used with my chalks with too, you can get a really lovely subtle effect!

Should have seen the look I got, rumaging round the ripped up crackers of the xmas table!!!
I really MUST sort through it all and start storing in a more orgonised manner!!
DH is great, e knows how much I enjoy my crafts and how much I rely on it to get "away from it all!" IFKWIM. He just wishes we could afford the extension that bit sooner!

Valentines, Easter and 7 family Birthdays in March....lots of card making going on down here!!

Silly question I have never bought anything off Ebay for my hobby....just wondering if it does work out much cheaper?
I get all my supplies from a local craft shop...we have nowhere else to get it from...I use Baker Ross sometimes and have started scouting around on the net too.
Also something I want for next Christmas is only available from a company in America...cant source the item in the UK at all....has anyone ever bought anything from the states and if so have they had any problems???

Hey guys,

I'm a mad cardmaker too, and have bought tons of stuff in from the US - but the shipping always gets to me. I found a pretty good Irish site recently that works well with exchange rate - very cheap, and the shipping was flat rate and only about £1.50 I think, maybe less. The site was www.craftsupplies.ie .

Also, attended a cardmakers course there a while back and they recommended that if you want to sell to shops, you should sell your cards in "ranges" of at least 12 each - so 12 of a similar design/consistent design. Do you guys do that at all?

a.
