Been shopping today!Grin Desperately need more card to make up my blanks. Completely run out of dark blue for a midnighty sky,I love making up the snowmen with their liitle felt scarves & hats.
Have also been making little penguins and had run out of black too!Sad
Anyway, went down to The Paper Mill, don't do much else there but filled my box (well-overfilled my boxBlush) to the brim with my card and then I spotted \link{http://www.diestodiefor.com/Accucrease.php\this}
Just couldn't resist it!! Tried it and I am so pleased with it. Really simply but has saved me so much time,I have folded about 100 cards with ease.
In fact it's so easy, I might even ask DH to fold some while I get on with my xmas cards this evening!Grin Hopefully even the "artistically challenged" as he calls himself could manage!Grin

Made all mine ages ago (ner ner ner Grin), and sent them out on December 1st. I was quite pleased with them, but have had better ideas since making them, which no doubt I will forget about next year!

I came to ask whether I should indulge myself and get the whispers ink set. I'm not sure whether i can justify spending a weeks shopping price on ink!!
Maybe I will get the glazepens instead.... decisions decisions...help!! I have 15mins to decide....

Took the 40 or so I had made to MIL yesterday, sold 9, she took another 6 to show to the girls at work! Back to a very empty looking stock box!!
Only completed another 5 tonight but made loads of little embellishments and stamped/coloured in some little snowmen! I have also made up a huge stack (well over 100 anyway)Grin of neatly folded card blanks, all nicely stored with matching envelopes and poly bag, sitting in a box just waiting to be used!!Grin I am very impressed with my Accucrease thingy, AQ,yes-it is really quick!!Grin
My conservatory looks like a bomb has hit it!Sad DH has put the tree up this afternoon, it is standing there in a bare state, with just a few twinking lights, waiting to be decorated tomorrow, the masses of boxes of baubles are mingling together with my craft boxes.BlushBlush
Ah well,,tomorrow is another day!Grin

I took mine in to a craft shop in Dedham today. The lady there has had quite a few in the past. She took 52 today, at £1.50 each! Well chuffed!! She told me that it is mainly men who buy my cards...must be for their girlfriends/wives, because they are really girly cards.

Took another £20 today, from a lady I know who orders a lot of cards for friends and family through me. I am really pleased that she (and her friend) like my cards, because they seem to know a lot of people! Also, her children have started requesting hand-made cards for their friends!

I have just been on HappyStamper's website, and nearly spent £50 on Hero Arts stamps! Can't keep money in my account, that's my problem. Managed to exit without entering my account details! Phew!

Oooh,,,,I'll have to take a look too!!!
At long last I mustered up the courage to take my cards with me to a Downs Syndrome Association meeting last night. I have had then in the car before but never had enough confidence to take them out the boot!
We have just set up a new group and I have offered my services as treasurer (!!!)
Anyway the girls seemed quite interested, sold £23.50, and I am giving 10% to the group. I came home and made up a little envelope to put the donations in!
I had some offers/ideas to take them in to work places,,,etc. I don't expect to earn a fortune from them, it is mainly the enjoyment, but it would be lovely to have more of a purpose and see some money raised from selling them.
Anyway, I live in hope....let's go and have a look a that site for some more inspiration!!

Champs,

Loving the Gelly Roll glaze pens. A doddle to use, quick to dry and a lot easier than the crystal laquer pens I shelled out £24 on.

Looked at the HappyStampers site earlier - a really good site from what I managed to see. It's so nice to see such a range of stamps shown. Didn't order was being pestered by a very grumpy ds, who was off school sick, he wanted to play a game on the PC.
Can someone do a link to these Gelly Roll Glaze pens, please! They sound really good.
I am thinking of compiling a wish list from the craft shop and leaving it for DH to see!

I think I have put some of my most popular ones on the "gallery" of the Swap shop- card ideas, I'll try to find the link for you.
I do little felt girlie clothes, popular for girls of all ages, for boys a football shirt, personalised with their name-again can be used for "boys" of all ages.
I make up the face of a ninja turtle,or my son's fav is Scooby Doo, cut paper to shape, detail with chalk, a layer with 3D pads.
I hope this will give you a few ideas! Good luck.
