Oh that's so lovely CrochetBug! Smile So nice to know it's gone to someone who appreciates it! Congratulations!

Ouch NiceCardigan, hope it heals soon for you Wine

You've been very industrious lucysmam, hope you get a chance to put your feet up later!

It's not all consistent lazy I've got a few fluffy bits where it's underspun but I think knitting will hide them. I redyed it again and I'm much happier with the colour. It should dry a little lighter and then it'll be just what I wanted. You'll get there! Did you see that Ashford traditional on Facebook the other day btw? It had so many accessories that it seemed good value Grin

Lovely colour Flavia! I think I've got my heart set on a Kiwi 3!

Also I am definitely set on a double treadle one. Single messed with my hip even on my short course!

Oh good choice, I love my Kiwi 3! Though if you wanted to avoid treadling altogether the Electric Eel Wheel 6 is worth a look, I’ve used it and preferred it to the Ashford e spinner…

lazylinguist · 20/11/2021 20:25

I think I like treadling Grin

The mansion house is just drying; it doesn't have a roof yet - I thought that'd be better done in daylight. hahahahaha my children had other ideas today 🙄 There's been one or other of them talking at me all day!

I did start the bandstand last night though so will carry that on tonight & do the mansion house roof one afternoon.

I plan to start decluttering pre-Christmas, this week, though so there'll be less day time crocheting for a while.

That's looking great @lucysmam!
Dh and I have been on a 5 hour walk in the Lakes today. 5 peaks, the highest 822m. I could barely hoist myself out of the car when we got home! I definitely earned the soothing bubble bath I just had, and an evening of knitting. The views were pretty special. This is where we stopped to eat our sandwiches!

@lucysmam that does look good! They seem to be working up fairly quickly?

@lazylinguist that's stunning! Well done on the long walk! I bet that made the bubble bath even more heavenly!

lazylinguist · 21/11/2021 17:45

It certainly did. I am in pain from hips to toes though, and groaning when I move! Dh is making fun of me amd saying it wasn't a hard walk Hmm Grin

@lazylinguist you definitely earned your bubbley bath! The furthest I've been today is the recycling bin Blush

@sophs29 they do seem to be working up really quickly! I think they're taking maybe 8-9 days each, so hopefully I should finish them well before Christmas.

I am going to look for a couple of 'emergency' trees in case I don't get them done, though. And am planning to look for houses to add throughout next year.

NiceCardigan · 21/11/2021 18:01

The village is looking great @lucysmam

I’ve managed to do some sock knitting as the short needles are a bit easier to hold.

InTheNightWeWillWish · 21/11/2021 19:01

My induction worked and resulted in quite a quick labour - 12 hours from contractions starting to baby in arms, from induction starting to end it was just less than 31 hours. Little girl arrived last night with a full head of hair. Still in hospital but I’m hoping we can leave tomorrow when we’ve got a bit of a handle on feeding.

I don’t know why MN has decided to upload the same photo 3 times 🤦‍♀️

NiceCardigan · 21/11/2021 19:06

Aw @InTheNightWeWillWish how gorgeous. Congratulations and enjoy the snuggles.

lucysmam · 21/11/2021 19:07

Ooh @InTheNightWeWillWish she's so tiny & precious 🥰. & what a head of hair indeed! Congratulations Thanks

Maybe MN was feeling artistic with the photo? You know how some folks have canvases with 3 parts - or however many - making up a picture 🤔

Myshitisreal · 21/11/2021 19:14

Agggghhjj I've been checking far too much for this.

Congratulations, absolutely wonderful ♥

sophs29 · 21/11/2021 19:28

Omg omg omg. Congratulations @InTheNightWeWillWish. She's so cute.

InTheNightWeWillWish · 21/11/2021 20:01

Thanks everyone ❤️

It was very quick and I was limited in pain relief options as I wasn’t admitted to delivery unit until I was 8cm. So I had two lots of paracetamol, two lots of codine and gas and air. I think I was in a state of shock last night at how quick and intense it was!

FlaviaAlbiaWantsLangClegBack · 21/11/2021 21:33

Congratulations InTheNight! She’s beautiful!

MerylSqueak · 21/11/2021 22:05

Congratulations @InTheNightWeWillWish. How lovely.

Oysterbabe · 22/11/2021 12:10

Congratulations!!!!
She's beautiful 😍

lazylinguist · 24/11/2021 07:36

I hope all is going well with you and your lovely baby daughter, @InTheNightWeWillWish!

I managed a row of hat last night, but I'm really busy atm. Doing lots of exam invigilation, which is dull and doesn't pay very well at all, but at least it's easy! I'm off to my parents' 4 hrs away on Friday for the weekend- they need some help sorting their house out before they move in a few weeks.
