I start with such good intentions I get it all planned out then it all goes wrong and you end up with a half finished project

Aw katy - what are you struggling with? Can we help with advice etc?

Katymac · 09/12/2007 19:26

I am recovering a big baby nest thing

You know the sort that nurseries have

It's gone OK - It looks fab but I can't finish it off

I need to seal it - but have it removable for washing easily

I am so crap at thinking it out before I start

Unless I unpick the bottem and put a second piece on the bottom like a pillow? - but it's curved and would the open edge be on the outside edge or the inside (think half circle)

probably already thought of this, but is velcro the answer?

Katymac · 09/12/2007 19:47

I don't think so - at least not at an end - maybe on the bottom?

Or would 2 layers on the bottom work each sewn on 3 sides but a long side of each open?

I think the inner edge is going to be the open edge (or at least the velcro'ed edge)

But it will be in from the edge and the bottom is flat on the floor - s there should be little access?
