I see lots of recipes from the US that end with decorating cookies/cakes with lustre powder or gel food colourings mixed with Everclear grain alcohol, which isn't available here. They say that any other 150 proof alochol is fine (75% abv) and lots of people say they use strong vodka. But the vodka I see is only about 40% - that's not really enough is it to evaporate quickly. So where do you get this strong vodka (especially in a miniature size!). Or do you use the rejuvenator spirit or whatever it's called from cake decorating shops - presumably flavourless, whether that's a good or bad thing I'm not sure. I think that's something like 95% alcohol (food grade ethanol or isopropyl or something)

Isopropyl, rejuvenator, regular vodka or gin will all be fine.

I just use vodka.
