Looking for good ideas for a homemade snowman costume for the xmas play.

I need to make 2 snowman costumes for a 4yr old and a 2yr old - any ideas. TIA

Some children at dd's music group last year had some which looked great, made out of white pillowcases with pillows inside, then buttons sewn on, scarves and hats etc. I think the pillows were a bit too big, the children were having trouble walking, but with some other kind of stuffing it would be perfect.

I've googled this myself now and there is surprisingly few sites with ideas for homemade fancy dress - although i can buy almost anything readymade

the pillowcase is a good idea though and the right size.

Buy a few rolls of cotton wool and wrap them like an Egyptian mummy, take a photo for posterity and then dress them in the pillow case costumes .
