HI,

I am attempting to make some wooden blocks for my son for Christmas, and need to know where I can get some non toxic, hardwearing paint from - in great colours!
Any ideas?

I just picked up a colour chart for these Crayola paints. It says on the card that it is approved for 'safe use on children's toys and cots'. I am sure you could find more 'friendly' ones somewhere else though. I'd be interested to see what others have to say.

thanks, I have ordered a chart too, let's see if anyone else has any ideas...

If you use acrylic paints they dry very tough but you will need to varnish over with a nice clear varnish.

Not sure if you want the wood shiny though!

I have used this in the past on children's drawers etc.
