Does anyone know if Sirdar crochet patterns are in UK or US terms?
I've just brought a new pattern but I can't see where is specifies.

I'd guess UK, particularly if hook sizes are only given in metric sizes (e.g. 4mm, no corresponding letters) and if there's no mention of single crochet.

Almost certainly U.K. terms.

But you can usually check easily by seeing if it mentions SCs or HDC stitches as they are US terms and won't be in a U.K. pattern.

I found this on their FB page under a conversion chart, so I'm pretty sure they must use UK terms:

"Here at Sirdar we understand that the differences between UK and US crochet terms can be a little bit confusing, so to make sure all of our lovely US customers can crochet our patterns we have created this helpful guide!"

They're definitely uk terms
