Desperate plea for paintbox yarn wool mix aran in red wine

Just that, I'm about to run out and I have half a sleeve to finish. Love crafts are out of stock, so looking for a ball or even half a ball of red wine, colour 815 batch 55761. I'll obviously pay for the yarn and postage (uk address) and you'll have my eternal gratitude. And my sons jumper will have two sleeves.

Or, if anyone knows of any local small suppliers thay stock this, that I could contact, that wouldnt necessarily come up on a google search.

Where have looked so far? Then I can maybe suggest a few other places to look

If you can’t find one how about undoing the finished sleeve and a half and buying a ball of diff shade and doing maybe cuffs, a few stripes and neckband in the contrast? Unless it’s school uniform of course

Knittingnanny other than love crafts I've checked my local shops website, hobbycraft, wool warehouse ebay and amazon, plus Googled "paintbox yarn uk stockists" without any luck, and have posted on a few facebook yarn swap groups. Any suggestions very welcome!

And it might come to undoing the existing sleeve if I cant find any!

So this is what the jumper looks like. If I can't source another ball from the right batch, my options would be to take a chance on another batch being close enough in tone, or I can undo partially and add another stripe on the cuffs and three stripes on the base of the body. But I'm not sure if that will look unbalanced, given there are five stripes on the yoke.

I would go for the stripe idea as a different dye of a bright colour like red may look very different after first wash
It will look lovely with stripes

Ah knittingnanny that's very kind of you but please dont spend too much time on it I can call around if you drop me a note with the store names, and I'm still searching online too. I've a half finished poncho for me I can get on with in the meantime.
