Even more if it’s not to your taste, surely you can use it for practice pieces/toiles?

Nope; i am being sensible, I have so much it is overwhelming so I am going to take everything I have out, stroke it a bit and put it into one if 4 piles

I must be strong, as my motivation for sewing has gone right now, so some stroking might help (mind you 3am cour sorting buttons didn't help the other night)

That's amazing! You can do this! I feel the same.

I'm overwhelmed by my stash so have spent last week going through it and have managed to give some to a local charity crafting group.

I've also gone through all my sewing & knitting books & patterns and got rid of many of those as well as my tastes have changed as has sadly my size!

I actually feel very liberated and a bit smug!!
