I have gone a bit mad on ebay and spent £50 on jewellery stuff for xmas pressies but want something to put the finished results in.

TIA.

i think its a really good idea making them yourself.

more personal that way

elesbells · 30/09/2007 14:33

for the kids i normally buy stuff from poundland (jacks, rubbers ect) we call them toot bags

Nbg · 30/09/2007 14:34

Great idea!

I might do that instead of pressies for the family children.
It will save me a fortune.

what sort of jewellery stuff did you buy? i love the beads.

are they easy to make?

Nbg · 30/09/2007 14:53

sorry my mum called

Mainly charm bracelets atm using gemstones and beads, then I'm going to try a couple of pairs of earrings.

I find it quite easy really.
And its really enjoyable.

I've used organza bags in the past & also made 'envelope' type pouches out of patterned paper. When posting though, I usually use just tissue paper
