Not sure if this is the right section, but my elderly mother has a birthday soon. She is gradually drifting off into dementia, and before she does so, I would love her to catalogue some of the family photographs so that we know who they show and the stories behind them.
These are obviously old photographs, many black and white and some developed at home (my great uncle was a keen amateur photographer, and both he and my dad at one time had home darkroom setups)
What is the best type of photo album / scrapbook to mount these photographs in? A scrapbook would be great, as then notes etc can be added to it easily. I know that some of our older photo albums have photos which have been bleached or damaged over time simply through the paper / glue being unsuitable.
I cannot visit her, and am unlikely to be able to for some time, so it would need to be something available online.
