What is your favourite crochet hook size and yarn?

At the moment I am loving amigarumi yarn (100% cotton), that I bought from Aldi using 4mm hook. I am currently making socks and will make a matching hat along with it.

And yarn from Poundstretchers (69p for 100g! DK yarn) using 2.5mm hook.

I have finally got back into crocheting after so many months all thanks to lockdown! I'm quite addicted now! What are your favourites at the moment? Also if you knit, you can put down needle/yarn here :)

Stylecraft Special DK and a 4mm for me.

Yarn is cheap, soft, comes in wonderful colours, washes well.

But I love a pure cotton or bamboo when finances allow.

Stylecraft Special DK and a 4mm Clover Amour hook.

3.5 Addi Swing with sublime merino DK ( although I mostly use stylecraft as it’s cheap and washes well)

I don't have a favourite yarn as it depends on what I'm making. The hook size would depend on the yarn and what I'm making (although I don't think I'd use a 2.5mm hook with a DK yarn).

I love Drops brand yarn For natural fibres as it's good value. For acrylic, Stylecraft Special.

3.5 Addi Swing and Scheepjes Stonewashed is my new favourite.

I recently did the Ubuntu Cal (the medium kit) and loved every minute. It was pricey but worth it. I've since splashed out on the large kit!

For everyday crochet, it's a 4mm and Stylecraft Special DK.
