Quilting gloves??

Just found these on Amazon, anyone know what the purpose of wearing said gloves? Kind of taken me by surprise.

Does anyone use them?

Do I need them? (I do a little bit of quilting)

I don't have them but am aware of them. They are for helping to grip your quilt when trying to manoeuvre large amounts around when free motion quilting

When you are machine quilting your quilt, it can be really tough on your fingertips, gloves have rubber dimples on the fingers and give you purchase as you move the quilt around.
