cash iroha

I need something off texere

I will dye it myself with food dye so it MUST be a protein fibre. So wool of any sort, soy, nylon all ok but cotton, linen, acrylic not.

Its to make the hourglass sweater

Thoughts? Am struggling as to what to match it for drapewise, also texere doesn't really seem to give gauge.

one option that I am happy with btw is to ply several thinner yarns.

I have been going round in circles on this for 6 months. I am utterly useless when I can't see the yarn but I can't bear to fork out £10 for a catalogue.

wayhey are you in bruntsfield now?

I cannot believe that dp lived on warrender park road for FIVE YEARS and not once did I venture into a buttons or beads shop.

But that is FAR outside my budget. I need cheapo handdyed yarn

do finger it for me if you're passing though...esp the purpley stuff
