So I have just bought this book (which is really lovely) because I would love to make my husband some clothes. I am a relatively experienced sewer but will need to look for material I don’t usually buy. After I have made my dad a summer version of the flat cap, I would like to make my husband a short sleeved casual shirt. We both hate ironing and in recent years he has been buying lovely soft cotton non iron shirts from Rohan. I would love to find fabric with the same properties. I am not sure though if non iron is to do with the weave of the fabric, an added chemical or the finishing process. Can anyone help with this and maybe point me in the direction of a good fabric supplier?
