blouse pattern

I have some lovely patterned cotton material and I see it being made into a blouse for me to wear.

Problem is I can't find a pattern I love. Can anyone suggest a pattern or a sewing blog I could look at? My criteria are:

  • not too fussy, ruffley or bow-ish
  • preferably short-sleeved
  • scoop neck (high neck makes tits look matronly)
  • beginner to intermediate

Please inspire me!

Try The Fold Lines pattern search.

Personally I like the I Am patterns Joy top.

Thank you YouWereRight - the Fold Line is great. I have browsed there before but couldn't remember the name of the site! I have found some lovely patterns there - spoiled for choice. I love:

parker tunic by style arc
irish top by fresh press patterns
teddy designer by style arc.

I like the Joy top a lot but the neck is too high for me!
