Knitting pattern

I really like this, but not sure I want to spend £60 on the kit.
The pattern looks fairly straightforward but I can’t work it out. You just sort of lift every 3rd stitch over? Anyone done this blanket or got any ideas? TIA

It's garter slip stitch, often used for dishcloths, should be quite simple. I'd suggest making a sample square to practise.
