Can someone with a better eye for colour than me check out my choices for a blanket please.

I love the plum colour and want to put the blanket on a grey sofa but I'm not sure these choices are right. Does it need something else? Is there a better colour than white for a neutral shade?

What about Parma Violet instead of white, it looks to be a gentle soft colour in the grey range.
I think Clematis would work with your colours too if you wanted something deep/warm.

Lovely colours!

Thank you Ada

I've played around with my basket and I've taken screenshots of another two combinations. The first is swapping the White for Parma Violet and the second is keeping the Parma Violet and taking out the Pale Rose and adding in Clematis. I think I like the last combination.

Any other suggestions from anyone else?

Yes I think the second combination is better too like you.

Brilliant. Thanks for your help. I've got a voucher burning a hole in my pocket Smile

I think that you might find that you need the white or another neutral to set of the colours a bit.
They are a lovely palette which ever one you chose.

How about Silver as the neutral shade or will that be too much grey?

SoupDragon · 20/02/2018 11:53

Or mushroom maybe?

Silver is out of stock at woolwarehouse

Thanks Soupy. I think I'm going to get Plum, Graphite, Grey, Clematis and Grape with my voucher and then I'll take them to my local wool shop and try them against White, Silver and Parma Violet to see what looks best.

Good idea - It’s really difficult to choose on a screen I think.
