Shoes and brooches - I’ve got both, now WTF do I do?

Got some lovely suedette shoes which are really comfy, but they’re a bit boring.

I also happen to have 2 diamanté brooches that would be absolutely perfect on them.

But, how the hell do I attach them in a way that is both comfortable and secure? Would a glue gun do it? I really don’t want to ruin the shoes with something that has no hope of working.

If I can get the pin through the fabric, what can I cover them with inside to stop me being in agony?

I've done exactly this before - had to take the 'posts' off the broaches, if that makes sense, and then superglued them on.

Clearly not a temporary measure though - but I think mine have been good for about 8 years (specials occasions only as v dressy now).

I bought cheap diamanté clip on earrings from Amazon. Easy to take on and off shoes.

You can buy clips to go on shoes. Glue gun the brooch top to those and then you can swap them around to other shoes as well.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I went with the take the posts off/superglue straight to the shoes approach and I have to admit they are absolutely gorgeous. I didn’t risk gluing the brooches to the clips because knowing me i’d lose 1

Anyway, so although they are now the most beautiful pair of shoes I own they rub like nothing on earth and I’ve been left with epic blisters (pregnancy has left me with hobbit feet)

I may just have to break them in for a bit longer......!
