Just worked out how to make DH do DIY jobs (that need doing but he has been putting off)

I just announce I'm off to my sewing room

Then all of a sudden the job that has been put of for weeks if not months is essential

I'm not sure how I feel about it - but I imagine it will be useful

I’m guessing he’s ‘parent on duty’ while you sew? Hence his sudden need to be away??

nope DD is 20 at college and currently away doing panto

i am needed to supervise all DIY as his dad never taught him....so it is a bit odd
