I need to make a Moana Headdress - what sort of flowers are they?

It's for adult DD so I am guess they need to be 5/6 cms big?

They aren't Roses or Lilys - any ideas what would look good (Gerbera have been veto'ed) I have a bit of a block with gardening!

Gosh that is gorgeous is it a shell you could put something in? I have seen a glow in the dark 'heart'

Could I attached the macrame to it do you think...drill a hole? Hot glue gun?

& tbh 5.5-6 inches is a bit big

Each half shell has a series of holes along one edge if that's helpful.

I think hot glue would probably work, it's a very common thing to make jewellery out of in the South Pacific so if you Google paua necklace you might be able to find some technique ideas.

I just grabbed the first one online. But whole pauas/abalone are quite sizeable..I have also found this m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Paua-Shell-Laminate-4-Inlay-Luthier-90-x-90-mm-Natural-Heart-/381537212044 which you could possibly use to cover a smaller vessel of your choice. Anyhoos, just throwing ideas out there.

i might look for a smaller shell maybe or look at the veneer although i doubt it's flexible enough for me to work with i i'm a bit cack handed!
