After not being able to find one in the shops and not being able to find a pattern I just decided to crochet one myself.
He's still legless but....
what do you think?

Gingermonkey · 07/04/2007 23:04

fellow monkey - I want one too!!!!! Please make me one - please, please, please, please, please, please! Don't be shy about thinking of a price - he's beautiful and handmade and unique, you don't get that in toysrus!!!

SquonkyDonkeyHotCrossBuns · 08/04/2007 17:34

purplemonkey:

Work out how much it will cost to make then multiply by three. See how much that is, if it seems reasonable, then that's how much to charge. Too little, add a bit, too much, take a bit off.

I am serious about buying one, if you want to think about how much to charge me

DimpledThighs · 08/04/2007 18:51

hey purplemonkey - looks like you have an extra source of income!

Love the boo!

DimpledThighs · 08/04/2007 18:51

charge six squid each.

SquonkyDonkeyEasterEggs · 08/04/2007 18:52

I'd defo pay six squids

purplemonkeydishwasher · 08/04/2007 19:42

SIX?!!!

c'mon! they're a fiver for the real one and it's mass produced!! see??

I was thinking 20ish. Or does that sound like too much?

OP posts:
SquonkyDonkeyEasterEggs · 08/04/2007 20:17

I think £20 is a bit much, but I would pay £15..... how does that sound?

purplemonkeydishwasher · 08/04/2007 20:37

Ok, for you, £15!

I'll let you know when it's done!
