Help me find this pattern

My DD used to have a gorgeous chunky knit (or could be crochet, can't remember) top which had a loose roll neck and was also sleeveless, so sort of like a tank top to put on top of another lighter top in the winter.

Can anyone help me find something like this? I loved that top and don't know what happened to it.

Have you had a hunt through Ravelry?

I've done a search on bulky sleeveless and it gave me 233 results

This sounds a bit like?

Thanks, I'll have a hunt through there. The one you linked too is too tank toppy though, it's more sort of wide openings for the arms and a much looser neck, and chunkier knit.

That's gorgeous socksrock

iknowimcoming · 05/09/2017 21:27

I made a very similar one by revelry called the azel pullover I think

TeaRosa · 05/09/2017 21:45

Yes yes yes Socksrock, that's very like it! Yay, and it's crochet. So excited, thanks!

Googling, I see that the Azel is the knit version of the same thing. Now to find the free pattern somewhere but if I can't find it $6 is worth it.

Sirdar 9265 instantly came to mind.

So I've made this jumper...all the way to the neck was easy peasy. But I'm totally confused with the cowl neck part.

Can anyone please help?

Problem is, I'm working with 30 stitches all the way round. At the end of a round, I have to slip stitch into first sc. Then for new round, I have to chain 1. But then I end up with 2 extra stitches for the next round! Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong???

Sorry if that makes no sense whatsoever.

You probably need to ignore both the slip stitch and the chain 1

TeaRosa · 16/09/2017 19:22

Thanks Soup, I'll give that a go.
