Anyone interested in learning to code? Mobile apps etc

Hi

Is anyone interested in learning to write apps for Android phones/tablets? (Sorry, I cant help with Apple iOS).

I'm about to start an app for my daughter that is basically the "Numbers Game" from Countdown. We could find a way to do it together if anyone's interested - or you could suggest ideas of your own.

Talking to a colleague about writing apps a while back they said "Oooh, I could never do that", but actually almost everyone can - a little maths will help, and some understanding of logic (if this is True, then do that).

Just came across this thread when searching the forums. I know you posted a while ago but I can recommend checking out an initiative that I'm signed up to: mama.codes/. There are a lot of friendly mums who code with their children. I am in the middle of building an iOS app with my niece based on the popular bubble shooter that she likes to play. My friend has a blog about bubble games and he said that when we've finished the game he'll promote it for free, which we're excited about: bubblegames.io/ If we can get 10 downloads once launched, we'll be over the moon :)
