Cake crumb damage
I'll take the squares book notwithstanding pruni, please if it has not already gone (marina wonders whether licking cake crumbs off a secondhand book counts as breaking no-cake-in-Lent rules

JaneAustenAllegro · 12/03/2007 11:03

I'll have the Knitted Blocks book please - I don't mind a few cake crumbs!

I'll drop you an email now.

JaneAustenAllegro · 12/03/2007 11:03

oh well, never mind Marina got there first!

Marina · 12/03/2007 11:23

No, you go for it JaneAusten, I have way too many knitting books already. Honest I have mailed pruni to say so as well.

JaneAustenAllegro · 12/03/2007 11:38

thanks Marina, very generous of you!

I'll mail Pruni now!

I'm a knitting novice, learnt plain as a child, never progressed further. Have crafty tendencies usually directed towards needlework but am tempted to take up knitting again. Love the title of the Stitch and Bitch book but given my beginner status do I need something simpler? Or does it include the basics?

Littlefish · 13/03/2007 10:22

If JaneAustin for some strange reason decides she doesn't want the squares book, and Marina sticks to her decision that she has too many knitting books (is there ever such a thing as too many????? , then please could I be third placed to buy it.

Littlefish · 13/03/2007 10:22

Oops - JaneAusten

Ho hum Pruni! Never mind. My "there's a new knitting thread on MN" warning light obviously wasn't flashing loudly enough.

fleacircus · 13/03/2007 10:57

That looks ideal; yes please can I buy it. Haven't bought anything from a MNer before, what do I do now?
