I'm a knitting novice, learnt plain as a child, never progressed further. Have crafty tendencies usually directed towards needlework but am tempted to take up knitting again. Love the title of the Stitch and Bitch book but given my beginner status do I need something simpler? Or does it include the basics?

If JaneAustin for some strange reason decides she doesn't want the squares book, and Marina sticks to her decision that she has too many knitting books (is there ever such a thing as too many????? , then please could I be third placed to buy it.
