Origami- anyone know how to make one of those 'fortune teller' hand held things we had as kids?

Hope you know what I mean! It was a square shaped thing with 4 corners pointing up and I think you wrote 'fortunes' on the 2 sides of each beak part, you stuck your thumb and forefinger of each hand up inside the points, then a friend told you a number and you opened and closed this thing, front/back, left/right, front/back til you reached that number then you read their 'fortune'!

Anyone know where I can get instructions how to make one? Thanks!

Yes - you need to get an A4 sheet and fold it diagonally and cut off one end to get a square piece of paper first of all.

Then quite simply, fold all four corners into the middle, turn over and do it again.

Then it needs folding in half and puffing up with thumbs and forefingers to get the shape right.

Does that make sense?
