How many 100g balls of super chunky wool will I need for a toddler size jumper?

For knitting I would use two balls - not sure how much you need for crochet

I'm hoping 2 would be enough but maybe ought to buy 3 to be on the safe side....

I haven't decided about the stitch yet - I'll have a play once I've got the wool. Not openwork though.
