Best glue to stick crochet fabric tape to cardboard?

Was thinking glue gun but worried the glue may bleed through the fabric tape.

DH suggested pritt stick but I don't think that'll be strong enough?

I need the fabric tape to be very well stuck down / no chance of it peeling off or shifting

What do you reckon?

A Pva glue or double sided tape it depends how big the holes are. Glue gun not great for fabric oromger flat things as dries very bumpy and sets hard in about 3sec by time u have got a length of it on it would be set solid.

Pritt stick is useless even for sticking paper together!
