Oooo chocolate mice is a fab idea, hadn't thought of that. Thing is, it was a chutney jar so I've tried bicarbonate but the residue it still there. I can dishwash again. Any other ideas?

Fill with boiling water, then empty, re-fill with rice then leave for a few days. Rice should soak up all excess moisture and the stink of chutney.
