I heard about Craftsy from a thread on here and managed to learn to crochet from their online classes. I thought the instruction was great and I eventually got the hang of the basic techniques after multiple failed previous attempts to learn!
There is a new free knitting class on there doing 3 projects - a cable hat, lace cowl and multi-coloured gloves. They look quite nice, and hopefully the instruction is good for people new to these techniques. I just signed up as it was free as I'm a decent knitter already, but I thought others might be interested.
