Hi I am after a bit Mumsnet wonderful help. I am running a Textiles activities day at the end of term for secondary school students. I need a tag line, Sewing and ? You can 'knit and natter' and 'craft around' but I am having trouble with 'sewing and..........?
Also any other ideas as to activities would be greatly received at the moment I am planning to do www.dressagirlaroundtheworld.co.uk/ in the morning and tee shirt bags in the afternoon. There are loads of ideas for this on pinterest and if anyone has experience of doing these I would love to hear your thoughts.

If they were older I'd have said Stitch & Bitch, but considering their age its not really appropriate.
Sounds like fun though.

The projects look brilliant. How about "Stay and Sew", "Sewing and Sharing" or "Stitching Time"? Sorry, they are really lame suggestions Blush

No, they are a good start. Keep them coming. I love stitch and bitch but I think a dim view would be taken from SLT Grin

'Sew not Boring'
'Sew and Sew'
' Sew Sisterz' or the traditional Sisters

'Sew Together Right Now'
'Sew Together'
'#Sewers'
' Make a Difference - One Stich at a Time'
'Sew not Happening'

These are my lame attempts to talk and think like a teenager...,trying too hard ? invoke eye rolling ?
Sounds like a great project - hope it goes well

I read Sew Not Boring in my best Vicky Pollard voice Grin

Sew now, sew crafty, sew into it, made-by-me, quick stitch...

Sew Make Do

All stitched up?

Sew and bow(s) - stolen from ds's virtual village of rhyming shops.

Bow as in the fabric knots at the top of the dresses not bow as in the end of a performance.

Thanks for your suggestions, I had to go with Sewing and sharing in the end as I needed to get e-mails sent out all of the partipants. However I am going to use Sew not boring somehow. I really liked Sew sisters but couldn't use it as I have a few boys signed up - good for them. I have also got an ear worm of'Soul sister, go sister' from that one. Smile. If anyone has any links about upcycling Teeshirts I would be grateful. I an going to give the students a choice of a bag, a cushion cover idea that I found and something else?

Pintrest is your friend. If you just put in DIY Bags the t-shirt bag comes up.

T-shirt bracelets are quite easy, no sewing but might be useful if you need to supervise some other children doing something or if some finish early.
