Is there anyway to tell if a dress pattern will come out true to size?

I have a new 'New Look' pattern & I'm trying to decide

I feel a toile coming on (is that the right word )

No TellMeDani I've never tried to get them printed elsewhere. I don't find it a problem to cut and stick - I find it quite calming, a bit like doing a jigsaw. I infinitely prefer that to cutting out tissue patterns.

Lekala instructions are awful however.

That's true I hadn't looked at it like that, I also quite like the look of the by hand London patterns, they are also a pdf.
