Does anyone do project life? After a rubbish 2015 I left this years looking very sorry for itself. For 2016 I really want to try and do a double page per month to have something to look back on and the appreciate the little bits a bit more.

Does anyone else do a month a page? I tend to do more digital scrapping now because I find it cheaper and easier

What is project life?

Project life is a way of scapbooking in a light enjoyable way that isn't too dependent on a high level of creativity and time - so pocketed plastic pages to slip things in either journaling (diary) cards, momentos - tickets, small things, photos, and it is meant to be simple enough to do something everyday, not require an entire craft room to complete and be able to keep going even when life is busy as it comes with precut pieces and embellishments.

Yes that's it. I do it digitally through various apps and then order a 8x8 photo book at the end of each year.

The suggested idea is that you create a page a week, like a photo jounal. I focus on doing a section of events, so a day trip or holiday. Although this year I want to see if I can do a page a week.

Oh what a lovely idea. Thanks for telling me. I'd never heard of it. I'd love to do it but reckon I'd be rubbish at keeping up to date

If you're taking photos and scans of things anyway, why not just add a copy of them to a 'annual photobook' directory on your computer. Maybe have a word or text document in there too that you can add the text to each week or event as you go. And then in the new year use an offer on a photobook to make your photobook of the year. They all come with nice templates if you want an American scrapbook style look as well as all sorts of others. Some companies will even let you build up photobooks as you go, over time, so you don't need to save it separately.

I've done this over the years and it needs very little effort as you go - and you have a great result at the end of it. Have the confidence to do it yourself rather than thinking you need something to do it for you!
