I need a hobbie! I can knit basic stitches and follow basic patterns. I haven't done any knitting for a few years now.

I've just gone back on anti depressants and my dh rightly suggested I start up my hobbies again (he's so lovely!). I can't look at patterns online I find it overwhelming at the moment. There's too many and it's too stressful.

Nothing to stressful please. I have a 2 year old girl so I could do something basic for her. Ideas please ladies.

Great idea jelly. I warped my loom for the first time since spring yesterday and spent an hour weaving last night. I find it so relaxing and love the fact that I am making something beautiful. I am sure it will help you to feel better.

Are you on Ravelry?

This looks simple and could be worn in the winter with tights and a long sleeved top underneath.

Lucky you having a two year old to knit for, so nice to make something special that is small Smile.

Check out the Patterns tab on Ravelry. Advanced search for the type of things you want to knit.

Check out the innocent smoothie big knit. Lots of little hats to make for charity. I started knitting this year and have made just over 200. I'm very proud

This pattern is a lovely starter using knits and purls:
