Easy ways to keep baby and toddler entertained?

Am running out of toys/TV programmes to keep my 2 yr old and 7 month old stimulated whilst I crack on with housework etc so need something safe and with minimal prep I can leave them (mainly the 2 yr old) to be getting on with that she can enjoy/learn from....any ideas?

Let the 2 year old clean with you! Give her a piece of kitchen towel and let her dust with you. Let her push the vac around with you. Kids love that stuff!
