does anyone have a decent stocking pattern. I no its early but I want to make about 10 or so as I have a large number of people who want one.

Have you looked on Ravelry?

Are you just doing plain, stocking shapes? If so you can just google "stocking" and click on images - there are bound to be lots of outlines you could print out.

if you're doing something more advanced, maybe look at getting printed panels like this
